Congratulations to Fiona on the birth of Alice Mary.

Good luck to Fiona Carter, Project Manager, who commenced maternity leave on 3 August 2009. We look forward to hearing of her new arrival, and to her return to the Consortium in January 2010. Mr Nader Francis has agreed to take on the role of SWLC Lead Surgeon in light of Mr Coleman's new post.
Mr Mark Coleman has been appointed as the National Lead for the Laparoscopic Colorectal Training Programme. The SWLC wishes him every success is this new role and is delighted that he will continue as an active trainer in our educational programme.
